Yes, that’s true, but obviously I haven’t done it in about a few weeks, and I figure I owe it to the people who come here – no matter how many or few there may be – to at least keep you up to date on what’s been going on:

  • For one, I got a new computer, and have been going thru the tedious task of transferring files, programs, music, etc., onto the new machine. Once that’s done, I can go back to putting some of the older tunes back up here while I (attempt to) work on some new stuff.
  • Also, I volunteered to do a remix for an upcoming Super Dodge Ball project on OverClocked ReMix – I’ll be doing Team Kenya! And I won’t even get into the fact that I’m the only brotha on this project and I get to do the song for Africa….I’m just kidding of course. I’ve been slacking in my arrangements so wish me luck on this one!
  • Over on the Urbanizm front, there’s a few things I’ve been taking care of. The first order of business has been The Preview, the upcoming collaborative album with the neato price tag – it’s free! That will see the light of day by the winter, that’s my story and I’m sticking to it. Also, Noodle the Innocent Child‘s album It’s a N00 Day is just about finished; the final touches are being put on that one, so it’ll be nice and purty-sounding when it’s released. Speaking of Noodle, we’re still looking for participants for the Ride Wit Me remix contest! It’s free to enter, and you can get a LOT of cool stuff. If you’re a musician/remixer/producer, you have nothing to lose so go ahead and enter!
  • So that’s where I’ve been since September 25th – we should be back in business soon….oh, if I may do a little promo, Skyzoo, whose song I remixed a track for on The Preview, just released his debut album entitled The Salvation. If you’re a fan of hip hop music, click that link and buy it; you will NOT regret it.
