I wanted to drop a new song for everyone staying at home "social distancing." This New Super Mario Bros. Wii remix was started almost 10 years ago (!) but is finally seeing the light of day.
The Ace Attorney series doesn't get nearly as much remix love as it deserves. I tried flipping one of my favorite tunes - the "Objection!" song from Apollo Justice into something with some smoothed out flair.
I've never played Final Fantasy 7 (fight me), but when a friend posted a link to Tifa's Theme on Facebook, I instantly got the idea for a smooth R&B rendition of the song.
My first completed remix in quite a while! With this mix, I got to enhance the natural chillout vibe of DKC2's "Forest Interlude," while getting to add my own flavor to it.
With this song, I flipped the ending music from the first Ace Attorney game, and linked up with Mega Ran and Mr. J1S together to make an ode to "the girl that got away."
This song was on my to-be-completed list for way too long - almost 3 years! This was one of the remixes I'd started (along with Chaos is the Remedy) for an Urbanizm Music-produced Sonic remix album that never saw the light of day.
Random aka Mega Ran is releasing his new album, Castlevania: The Nocturnal Cantata, and I had the honor of producing the first single, Aria of the Bloodline.
As soon as I heard the "Game Over" tune, I instantly dug it. Since it was only 15 seconds long, I tried to be creative with it while still maintaining the feel that drew me to the original song to begin with. I had a lot of fun putting this together, and I hope everyone enjoys listening to it.
I just released my new EP, VGM Beetz. It’s a compilation of hip hop beats sampling and rearranging tunes from different games. There are familiar tracks on it such as instrumentals for Nairobi Hop and Cheetahs Never Win, as well as some brand new ones.
