This is definitely my most popular remix, and to date it’s my only track on OverClocked ReMix. There are about a zillion remixes of Ice Cap Zone floating around the internet (and I don’t think I’m exaggerating either!), so I knew I would have to put in some serious work to make one that stood out. I transformed the house-like original into a laid back hip hop instrumental, and hooked it up with some vocals from my friend and labelmate Noodle the Innocent Child. Fact: The rhymes were written to Eminem’s “Mockingbird,” for those who notice the similarities.
